Albert is basically the Suikoden 3 version of Klaus, with a little Leon thrown in for good measure. Keep playing Suikoden 3 (or, probably more noteworthy, read the Suikoden 3 manga, because it does Albert a lot more justice) and you will see that Albert is one awesome arsehole. Peoples opinions of him are mixed, some saying he failed, but a lot of people suggest that Leon failed in Suikoden 2 too, which is really open to debate (in both games).

Well, Klaus becomes the official strategist of the Dunan region after Suikoden 2 (when Shu retires), so during the Higheast rebellion Klaus was the official tactician (though Shu was heavily involved, as well as Flik and Viktor). There hasn't been a game based on the Higheast rebellion, unfortunately, because after Suikoden 3 the director of the series changed, and they decided to go back in time. Zoh well. Regardless, Klaus would be a very definate part of that game, though it is likely he wouldn't be given the credit he deserves because of Shu (much like in the game his work in Tinto is ignored...).

So yeah, the potential is definately there. If they base any game after Suikoden 2 that involves the Dunan region, he would at least have to make a cameo.
